Pierre Hourcade attended University of Paris La Sorbonne and UCLA Law, where he obtained a LL.M in 1991.

Pierre Hourcade began his legal career in 1995 at Coopers, Hurewitz, Epstein in Beverly Hills, then Price Coopers Waterhouse Law firm, a civil and criminal litigation firm. He was then an associate at the Law Firm of Willkie, Farr and Gallagher in Paris.

By 2002 Pierre Hourcade opened his own law firm and supervised and managed a group of attorneys and support staff. With main offices in Paris and satellite offices in Los Angeles, New York and Miami he litigated countless family law matters.

A frequent lecturer and speaker, Pierre Hourcade has appeared on various television news programs, including CNN International, TF1, France 2, TV5 Monde, France 24, Europe 1 and in numerous publications.

Sophie is specialized in all matters related to International Family Law and Immigration Law.

Sophie holds a Master’s degree in Law from Panthéon-Sorbonne University. She is bilingual in French and English.

Sophie studied international law at a leading university in the US, (LL.M in International and business Law) Suffolk University Law School in Boston, where she was fully immersed in an English-speaking environment. She also had the opportunity to gain admittance to the prestigious UCLA Law School in Los Angeles, California.

Sophie had an atypical career start, initially working in major French law firms and then in organisations abroad. She worked for renowned law firms in Casablanca and Boston and thereafter in Geneva at the General Secretariat of the World Trade Organization (WTO).

Sophie has been dedicated to the legal profession for 10 years, has been a partner in the firm since 2016, and heads the International Family Law and Immigration Law division, where she provides support to both individual and institutional clients.

Sophie is a keen art lover having a strong interest in humanities.
